Morgana Studios had a strong presence at the Annecy 2024 International Animation Film Festival. The festival week included engaging panels and conferences, such as “Women in Animation from Spain,” hosted by our Chief of Strategy, Verónica Buide, and “Spain, The Ideal Partner,” featuring our Business Development Director, Daysi Cruz. These sessions showcased the work and talent within the Spanish animation community, with Daysi and Verónica incredible leading women representing Morgana Studios.
The team participated in insightful sessions like “War is Over! ElectroLeague and Wētā FX Bring Real-Time to the Oscars,” “Short Film Mifa Pitches,” and “The Oscars: Eligibility Essentials.” These events provided valuable industry insights and opportunities for growth. Additionally, Morgana participated in the Canada-Spain Co-production Matchmaking – Breakfast & Casual Networking, organized by Audiovisual from Spain and ICEX, fostering meaningful industry connections.
The event was an excellent opportunity to celebrate the industry and the achievements of the Spanish animation sector through networking and impactful collaborations.
