Morgana Studios, ReachStar, and ReDefine Originals are thrilled to announce their collaboration on the animated film “Diamante,” set in the Dominican Republic. From an orginal idea by Claudio Lluberes, directed by Directed by Mathieu Ratthé, and screenplay by Ratthé and Leticia Tonos Paniagua, this film promises to bring the rich culture and vibrant landscapes of the Dominican Republic to the big screen.
“Diamante” follows the story of young Luisito, who dreams of becoming a professional baseball player but struggles with a fear of failure. His life changes when he discovers a mysterious power that leads him on a journey of self-discovery, friendship, and resilience. This heartwarming narrative aims to highlight the cultural and folkloric richness of the Dominican Republic, showcasing it to a global audience.
The film is produced by a talented team, including Ratthé, Caroline Desmarais, and Steven Thibault for ReachStar, and Miguel Cabañas, Verónica Buide, Claudio Lluberes, and Daysi Cruz for Morgana Studios.
